The distance from the beach is 320 meters, and you can reach it either by foot or by car.

Please keep in mind  that in this particular area, there are no supermarkets or taverns as it is a residential-only area. You can find them in nearby villages.

During your stay

We strive to provide you with a one-of-a-kind experience that is different to what you get at hotels and hostels – something more responsible, more human, and ultimately more valuable. With that in mind, please do not treat our members or our services like you would at a hotel. If you’re looking for a chilled out, cozy atmosphere…a home away from home, then by all means book with “Feels Like Home”.

It is important to mention that all of our residences are self-catered. There is no intermediate cleaning service during your stay for safety reasons, due to COVID-19. We provide clean sheets and bath towels as well as pool towels, which we renew every week upon request. There are a few welcome products but we do not provide goods for cooking and personal care during your stay. You are more than welcome to bring with you your own sanitary ware and products.

According to the Greek Law, we are obligated to register your stay, so the passport or ID number of the person making the reservation is necessary.

About the neighbourhood

Akti Salionikiou is a hidden gem located (at ‘the crossroads’) between Agios Nikolaos, Metagitsi, and Pyrgadikia. This seaside resort boasts a stunning 2.5km long beach, with a picturesque view of “Mount Athos, Agios Oros“. The beach is a combination of sandy and pebbly shoreline, and the water is crystal clear, making it a perfect destination for those seeking a peaceful and tranquil vacation away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The Salonikiou Beach is the first you’ll encounter if you are coming from the direction of Agios Nikolaos and is located next to Krotiri Resort, a popular spot for young people, and Makai Beach Bar. Although it’s lively and may not be the quietest spot, you’ll still be able to enjoy the sea and your vacation because it’s very long (around 1,2 km) and mostly ‘naturally wild’, completely without beach bars and organised activities. On this beach, if you walk barefoot, you will find perhaps the most beautiful shells in Sithonia.

If you’re an adventurer and if you want to explore something unique and tranquil, don’t miss Salonikiou Coast (Akti Salonikiou)! All the locals will confirm that this beach is worth going to!

But the Salonikiou Coast isn’t just about the beaches, the nearby village of Metagitsi is known for its delicious lamb, homemade honey, and olive oil. So, not only will you have a peaceful spot to relax but also some delicious local food to enjoy.

We kindly request you to:

• respect the non-smoking policy.
• take your rubbish out on a daily basis. Recyclables may be separated, gathered together in large bags and be thrown into large blue bins located all around the main highway of Halkidiki.
• avoid making noise during midday (15:00-17:30) and after 23:00.
• save resources, both water and electricity. Please think in a more sustainable way and do not waste water or have the A/Cs working while patio doors are open.
